Dr. Peter Green is one of the founders of BellHawk Systems. He serves as its
President as well as the company Chief Technology Officer.
He is a recognized expert in the use of materials tracking and traceability
technology to improve product safety and the operational efficiency of
industrial organizations. Dr. Green is also an expert in the integration of
real-time distributed computer systems. He is an experienced project manager
and systems architect and has served as principal investigator on a number
of government funded research projects. By avocation he is a systems
theorist who studies the interaction of people and technology.
INTRODUCTION
Bar codes and RFID tags are method used for tracking information. Barcodes
contain encoded information that can be read by electronic readers. It is
used to facilitate timely and accurate input of data to a computer system.
RFID tags are also used to store data, however, the information can be
accessed through a specific radio frequency and does not require close
proximity or line-of-sight access for data retrival. Join us to hear what
